Rule 65
Compulsory Retirement
: (1) The following Armed Police personnel shall be compulsorily retired from the Armed Police Service on any of the following grounds:-
(a) If the service period of the armed police personnel has completed thirty years.
(b) If an armed police officer holding the following post attains the age as follows:-
(1) Inspector General of Armed Police – Eighteen years (2) Additional Inspector General of Armed Police and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police – Fifty-six years (3) Senior Superintendent of Armed Police and Superintendent of Armed Police - Fifty-five years (4) Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police – Fifty-four years (5) Armed Police Inspector – Fifty years (6) Senior Deputy Inspector of Armed Police and Deputy Inspector of Armed Police – Twenty-two years (7) Sub-Inspector of Armed Police – Ninety-one years (8) Armed Police Senior Constable, Armed Police Constable, Armed Police Assistant Constable and Armed Police Constable - Fifty years (9) Armed Police Attendant or equivalent – ​​Fifty-five yearsYear
(c) If an armed police officer holding the following position continues to hold such position for the following period:-
(1) Inspector General of Armed Police – Four years (2) Additional Armed Police and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police – Four years
(3) Senior Superintendent of Armed Police – Seven years (4) Superintendent of Armed Police - Ten years (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2) of clause (c) of sub-rule (1), on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Armed Police, the Government of Nepal is holding the post of Additional Inspector General of Armed Police and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police. The term of office of an armed police officer can be extended by one year.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) and sub-rule (2) of clause (c) of sub-rule (1), the armed police personnel holding the post of Additional Inspector General of Armed Police and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police at the commencement of this regulation shall If they remain in service for five years, they will retire.
(4) For the purposes of this rule, the age of police personnel shall be calculated as follows:-
(a) Date of birth mentioned in the certificate of citizenship, certificate of educational qualification and personal statement (citroll) submitted by him at the time of joining the service on the basis of the date on which retirement is the earliest,
(b) Date of birth is determined on the basis of the certificate which only mentions the year or year, in case of citizenship certificate, the date of receipt of the certificate, the date of receipt of the certificate of educational qualification.Based on the date of issue of income certificate and date of commencement of enrollment in case of personal details (citrol),
(c) If only the year is mentioned in a certificate as per clause (a) and the full date of birth is disclosed in another certificate and if there is a gap of up to one year between the dates of birth mentioned in such certificate, on the basis of the fully disclosed date of birth. However, if the difference between the dates of birth mentioned in the separate certificates is more than one year, the date of birth established as per Clause (b) shall be based on the date on which the retirement date is the earliest.
(5) If the armed police personnel who have been in the armed police service since before 31st of Chait 2065 retire due to the completion of the service period according to clause (a) of sub-rule (1), the age to retire according to clause (b) of the same sub-rule Remaining, that period will be added to the employment period he will get and the pension he will get will be calculated.
